"If You're That Much Into Guilt, Why Not Just Be Catholic?" Dept

With Rosh Hashanah coming up, the very goyisha chick who reads the news on AM 740 here in Houston was asked to include a bit about the holy day, in the five minutes she gets for news every half hour. Having started off swimmingly by mispronouncing "Hashanah," she went on to inform us that they, the crack young staff of AM 740, had asked a rabbi to explain the difference between the Jewish New Year and everybody else's annual bash. A quick sound bite from the rabbi was played, and then it was up to Goyisha Chick to leave us with a parting thought, which she did thusly:

"Rabbi Cohen explained that the focus is on repenting for the things we've done wrong and seeking forgiveness for everything else."
