Um Kenny, this is a satire show
doncha think the Hitler reference is a bit um strong?
Especially since the reference is coming from "torture is good" Hewitt?
[grinning] Yeah, I know it was a satire show; this was in my intention at least a purely comic link. I thought it was hilarious -- the Daily Show guys crack me up, especially Colbert. The send-up job he does on Bill O'Reilly on The Colbert Report is just deadly (plus the most recent one I caught had Colbert telling Nina Totenberg that Robert Bork was robbed and cheated because "just because you're bat-[bleep] crazy doesn't mean you ought not be appointed Supreme Court Justice for life." I like my satire strong, I guess.
You don't think The Anchoress or Hewitt (I didn't realize she got the link from him) took it seriously, do you? That possibility hadn't occurred to me.
OK Kenny, i did some quick fact checking. (i had to use a different browser) I fully retract my first statement.
