Integrity

I very much like something I heard today in, of all the unlikely places, a corporate ethics class. BP's new code of conduct centers around the concept of integrity, and at the end of a manditory presentation that I found moderately less platitudinous than I had expected, Lord John Browne (Group Chief Executive) summed up integrity thusly:

"There must never be a gap between what we say and what we do."

Which sums it up about as well as I've ever heard it summed up.
