Happy Death of the Suitors Day!
As explained here, last year, on my inaugural observance thereof.
But the truth is, -- I am not a wise man ; ---- and besides am a mortal of so little consequence in the world, it is not much matter what I do ; so I seldom fret or fume at all about it. -- Tristam Shandy

Love that scene from the movie version, with Armande Assante and Greta Scacchi. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118414/
On a personal note, I think of Penelope when I craft: I have discovered I am a "process" crafter. I enjoy the process more than the finished product. I would be more than happy to knit up a blanket, and when it's completed, undo the whole thing and do it all over again. Just like Penelope took out her day's worth of embroidery each night, to prolong the wait of the suitors.
